Exciting news! We will be opening a MATCH Middle School in September, 2008. As such, MATCH will be placing Corps members in the MATCH High School OR with our first class of 90 6th graders! The school will grow eventually to support 240 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. While there are many questions surrounding the Middle School (where in Boston will the school be located? where will the Corps members live?), we'd like to gauge interest of prospective Corps members in getting in on the ground floor of a dynamic public Middle School. Please indicate if you'd like to spend your Corps year at MATCH High School, MATCH Middle School, or have no preference. This poll is non-binding on either side.

In considering applications, we look mainly for a strong academic record, good interpersonal skills, and a readiness to rise to the many demands and challenges that come with working at an inner-city school. We need a relentless work ethic.

Application Timeline
Applications are accepted and processed on a rolling basis starting in January, 2008 through July, 2008. Within one weeks of receipt of your application, we will inform you of your status within the process. The next step is a telephone interview. During the telephone interview, you will have the opportunity to ask questions about the program.
